NetMagic Pro
is an Out-of-the-Box Password Management solution.  
Special, large-scale deployment projects
are not required for NetMagic Pro. It is a network-based, enterprise-wide
password management software tool, easily deployable in a variety of
configurations. 

NetMagic Pro is installable and deployable in less than a
couple hours at installations with less than ten thousand end users, and it
is installable
and deployable in less than two days at installations with tens-of-thousands
of end users.
NetMagic Pro is
built on a straightforward client/server Architecture.  

This simple and resilient Client/Server
architecture avoids the weaknesses of script-based password solutions,


while also avoiding the deployment complexities of products based
on the enterprise-wide deployment of password agents
or applets on geographically dispersed
desktops, servers and mainframes. 
NetMagic Pro’s centralized architecture with its central database
is easily extensible.  
The base product provides account unlocks, password resets, and password synchronization for each separately purchased standard platform.


NetMagic Pro may be expanded in several ways. The primary way is through the selection of functionality from a rich set of separately purchasable Options.




The Options offer specialized security enhancements, extended reporting and auditing capability, extended password and ID management capabilities for the Help Desk
operator, and End User Self Service.  

NetMagic Pro may also be extended by using API sets available under the NetMagic Pro Options.
The customer may extend NetMagic Pro to other platforms or in-house developed applications by employing the
Password Management Connection Option,  

OR the customer may develop an in-house WEB interface to the End User Self Service Option
or an Interactive Voice Response application by using the API set in the External API
ToolKit.  

NetMagic Pro is simple to learn and extraordinarily simple to
use.  
For the Help Desk, NetMagic Pro presents an easy-to-use four-step
GUI  

that allows Help Desk operators in seconds to: Authenticate the end user, automatically locate across a large enterprise the locations where an end user has accounts, unlock the end
user's intruder locked account, reset the end user's password, and/or synchronize that password across multiple operating systems. This ease-of-use dramatically reduces the response time on a password reset call, thus reducing operational cost and increasing enterprise productivity.
NetMagic Pro's End User Self Service WEB interface is secure and simple.
 

This customer configurable web interface allows end users to quickly authenticate with answers to a previously established set of questions, and then reset or synchronize their password. This removes routine password change requests from the Help Desk entirely, thus increasing end user compliance with security
policies and even more dramatically reducing operational cost, while increasing enterprise productivity.
NetMagic Pro is simple to
administer and maintain.  
Two special GUIs, the Help Desk Administrator GUI and
the Controller GUI, allow simple setup and configuration of NetMagic
Pro. The Help Desk Administrator GUI provides setup of the Help Desk operator’s
authorized functionality by an authorized administrator. The
Controller GUI provides for setup and administration of the centralized NetMagic Pro server.
After setup, NetMagic Pro is fully automatic. The centralized
client/server architecture and the lack of agents or applets makes it easy
for IT infrastructure engineers and applications management engineers to very
quickly identify, locate, and solve any problems that arise.
